For permanent use, for example for Digital Care customers. I usually install and set it up myself on the first visit.

Coming soon. In the meantime, call and we'll set up the connection another way.

How it works

  1. Call me on 040 175 0141 and we'll agree on the remote session.
  2. Download the app above and open the downloaded file.
  3. If Windows shows a blue "Windows protected your PC" window, choose More info and then Run anyway. The warning appears because the app is new and Microsoft doesn't recognise it yet.
  4. The app shows a nine-digit ID. Read it to me over the phone.
  5. When I connect, a request appears on your screen. Press Accept.
  6. When we're done, close the app. The connection ends immediately, and I can't reach your computer until you open the app again.

Never give remote access to a stranger

Only open a remote connection when you have called me yourself or we've agreed on it in advance. Banks, Microsoft, the police or Kela never call and ask you to install a remote access app. If anyone else asks, hang up and call me.

Questions

Can you access my computer without my permission?

No. Every connection has to be accepted at the computer, and you see everything I do. You can end the connection at any time by closing the app.

Is the connection secure?

The connection is encrypted and runs through my own server in Helsinki, not a foreign service provider. I never store or ask for your passwords.

What does remote support cost?

Remote help is billed according to the price list. For Digital Care customers, remote help is included in the plan within fair use.

What can be fixed remotely?

Almost anything software related: updates, a slow computer, viruses and adware, printer setup, email, and guidance on using programs. Broken parts and network hardware usually need a house call.

The app won't start or shows an error

Call 040 175 0141. We'll sort it out over the phone, or I'll come over.
